Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Patient Participation Group

(PPG)

Kidderminster Medical Centre's Patient Participation Group (PPG) consists of a group of patients and GP practice staff.  We meet every 4-6 weeks to discuss practice issues and patient experiences gained from patient surveys: we look at ways to improve the service and experience for our patients.  We also engage with other PPGs in the partnership and also across the County - we meet twice a year to share ideas and good practice.  So far this year (2019) We have held three coffee mornings, the latest being 27th September 2019, this was in aid of Macmillan Nurses. We raised £311.00.  We are now planning a Christmas Coffee morning, (date to be confirmed).  At these coffee mornings which are always well attended patients have the opportunity to discuss any issues they may have concerning the practice with the members of the PPG. Patient surveys are carried out at the meetings and analyzed, this is enable to practice to act upon suggestions made.

The practice is running three drop in flu clinics on Saturday Mornings and the PPG are instrumental in ensuring they run smoothly.

Please contact the practice if you would like to join the PPG
